Bandung File
   Bandung File was a Channel 4 programme which dealt with matters of concern to ethnic minorities. It was named after the Bandung Conference, a meeting of Asian and African states organized by Indonesia, Burma, Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan in Bandung, Indonesia, in 1955. The television programme offered a radical perspective on contemporary issues, such as the ethnic origins of western culture and issues surrounding racism and discrimination, as well as disputes on multiculturalism, ‘political correctness’ and Afrocentric curricula. Frequent contributors were Darcus Howe, Paul Boateng and Tariq Ali. A typical production was Black Athena (1991) on Martin Bernal’s theories of the African origins of Greek civilization.
